The eruptive geology and the harsh mountain climate have shaped a unique terroir in which the constituent elements of a great spirit are present, the cereal soils, but also the pure, ideally mineralized water suitable for the production of a world-class malt spirit. This eau-de-vie made from 100% malted barley, precursor of the future Mezenk whisky, was aged for more than a year in barrels of different wood species, textures and toasting.
