Malted barley.
Still: S.O.F.A.C 1500l.
Manufacturing: Mash is made from locally sourced malted barley then distilled in an Armagnac continuous still. The whisky is then aged in ex-Macvin, Vin Jaune and Vin de Paille barrels for 12 years.
Tasting notes
Yellow.
On the nose, notes of honey, dried and candied fruits and fresh citrus fruits emerge. A touch of buttery and vanilla notes completes the nose.
On the palate, rich and textured, the rancio notes emerge and are counterbalanced by the fruity intensity. A discreet hint of curry, cumin and coriander enhances the palate which takes on a patina with notes of toasted wood and leather.
The finish is long with a fruity, spicy and leathery structure.
