Braastad

The history of the Braastad family spans several centuries, but Braastad cognac began in 1875, when a young Charentais founded his own cognac house on the banks of the Charente in Jarnac.

Five generations later, our Cognac is always designed with the utmost care and applying the know-how of yesteryear. This centuries-old work makes the reputation of our Cognacs today. The House Braastad retains its family and independent character. We are proud to perpetuate ancestral know-how and share our Franco-Norwegian culture around the world. Our House is one of the few to be able to control internally every stage of the production of Cognac. The family thus defends three fundamental values of its own: authenticity, traceability and quality.
